About
A warm, grounded and collaborative approach
You are ultimately the expert in your own life. Our work is a partnership, with space for you to explore what matters to you, in your own time and at your own pace.
My practice is inclusive, culturally sensitive and non-judgemental.

A bit about me
Welcome — I'm Nursel.
I am a qualified Person-Centred Therapist and Registered Member of the BACP, with experience supporting adults and young people through a range of emotional and personal challenges.
23 years
working in education as a primary school teacher
Since 2022
training and working within the counselling profession

Alongside my counselling work, I have spent 23 years working in education as a primary school teacher. Throughout my career, I have supported children, young people and families through a variety of challenges, developing a strong understanding of emotional wellbeing, personal development and the importance of safe, trusting relationships.
Since 2022, I have been training and working within the counselling profession, including working with counselling agencies and as a college counsellor. These experiences have skilled me to work with people from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of difficult experiences and concerns.
My approach is primarily Person-Centred and grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together at your pace and in a way that reflects your individual needs and experiences.
I provide a warm, compassionate, inclusive and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever you choose to bring to therapy. Whether you are experiencing a difficult period in your life, feeling stuck, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I will support you with openness, empathy and respect.
My aim is to help you feel heard and understood, while supporting you to develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and clarity, enabling you to move towards the changes you would like to make.
