The service

Nursel Deniz Therapy provides counselling for adults and young people aged 16 and over. Sessions are offered online. A free 15-minute initial consultation by telephone or Zoom is available before beginning therapy.

Fees and payment

Fees are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Online counselling session: £70 for 50 minutes. Concession rate for students, trainee counsellors, individuals on low income and unemployed clients: £50 for 50 minutes, arranged by email before booking. Paid sessions are arranged with Nursel by email after the free consultation, and how to pay is confirmed then.

Fees are negotiable depending on individual circumstances.

Cancelling or rescheduling

If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. A session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed, is charged in full.

You can view or cancel a booking using the link in your confirmation email. To change the time, cancel it and book a new one.

Refunds

If you cancel at least 24 hours before your session, the fee is refunded in full. Sessions cancelled later than that, or missed, are not refunded.

Age of clients

Counselling is offered to clients aged 16 and over. Young people aged 16 and 17 are presumed able to consent to their own counselling, as adults are. If a young person is not able to consent, someone with parental responsibility can consent on their behalf. See the NHS guidance on consent for young people.

Confidentiality

Counselling is confidential, within the limits set by law and by the BACP Ethical Framework. These limits are explained before therapy begins.
